WECO EK Series 75-125 kW: the new three-phase hybrid inverter range for advanced C&I energy systems

The commercial and industrial energy market is evolving rapidly. Companies are no longer looking only for photovoltaic generation, but for complete energy systems capable of combining solar production, battery storage, backup capability and intelligent monitoring.

This is the direction behind the new WECO EK Series 75-125 kW, the three-phase hybrid inverter range developed for high-performance commercial and industrial applications.

At Intersolar Europe, WECO will present the new EK 75-125 kW solution combined with A-KOOL Storage, a C&I system designed to bring together photovoltaic generation, energy storage and operational continuity in a single advanced architecture.

The EK Series power range includes 75 kW, 80 kW, 99 kW, 100 kW and 125 kW models, offering flexibility for different commercial and industrial project sizes.

Designed to support complex energy projects, the EK Series combines power, flexibility and control in one platform. It is a solution created for installers, EPCs and energy professionals who need to manage photovoltaic generation and storage with a high level of efficiency and reliability.

With 10 independent MPPTs, the system can optimize PV production even when photovoltaic modules are installed with different orientations or in non-uniform irradiation conditions. In the 125 kW configuration, the EK Series supports up to 250 kW of PV array power, offering wide design freedom for C&I installations.

The system is also designed to work with WECO HV LFP batteries, supporting up to 160 A per battery output or 320 A on a single output. This enables high-performance charge and discharge management, making the EK Series suitable for applications where energy storage plays a central role in self-consumption optimization, peak management and operational resilience.

In demanding energy environments, continuity matters. The EK Series supports backup operation with a maximum switching time of ≤10 ms, helping maintain power availability for supported loads according to the system configuration. Its overload capacity of up to 200% also allows the system to manage short-term power peaks in applications that require high responsiveness.

Built for challenging operating conditions, the EK Series features IP66 protection, forced convection cooling with smart activation and an operating temperature range from -25°C to +60°C. These characteristics make it suitable for outdoor installations and demanding commercial or industrial environments.

Monitoring and communication are also central to the system architecture. With CAN, RS485 and Wi-Fi connectivity, together with LED and app interface, the EK Series enables installers and operators to monitor performance, manage system data and support remote operation through the WECO digital ecosystem.

With the EK Series 75–125 kW and A-KOOL Storage, WECO expands its C&I portfolio with a complete hybrid solution designed for advanced energy storage systems and high-performance commercial and industrial applications.
