Environmental Responsibility
At WECO , respect for the environment is at the heart of our mission. ISO 14001 certified, we strive daily to minimize the environmental impact of our production processes and energy solutions. We collaborate with the University of Pisa in an advanced LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) research program to analyze and optimize the life cycle of our products, ensuring increasingly sustainable production. In addition, we are developing an innovative recycling project for lithium batteries in Italy, with the aim of promoting a circular model that maximizes resource recovery and minimizes waste. WECO is committed to its customers not only guaranteeing the manufactured products but also disposing of them at the end of their life. All manufacturers and/or importers, distributors and installers, are obliged to guarantee the disposal of goods. Should one or more of these actors fail to do so, the responsibility and cost of disposal will fall on the end purchaser.

The first dual Voltage lithium battery introduced in 2019 is still a market reference. The first cordless stackable battery with a heating system was produced in 2019 well ahead of market trends The first battery with dual voltage DCC, 52V or 450V converter only 10 cm thick has been designed and manufactured since 2020 redefining the standard of small residential high voltage batteries Smart series, the wireless all-in-one battery introduced in 2023, among the first in the segment with fire suppression, heating and seismic certification In 2024, we introduced the uniquely designed HYBO, A-Kool and Li-Kool cabinets with state-of-the-art performance features, bringing high-quality design to the industrial segment as well.
